NEWCASTLE Knights partisan Russell Packer has been charged following an purported occurrence that left a male comatose and with a fractured eye socket.
The former Warrior, 24, attended Newcastle Police Station this afternoon where he was charged with attack occasioning tangible corporeal mistreat and disaster to quit a protected premises.
The occurrence occurred during approximately 1.30am in Martin Place, Sydney, on Saturday night.
“A 22-year-old Summer Hill male was found comatose during a stage and treated by NSW Ambulance Paramedics,” NSW military pronounced in a statement.
