A HORSE pulling an Amish cart has been shot and killed as partial of a weird drive-by shooting.

The Amish cart with 5 passengers was travelling along a highway in East Lampeter Township, Pennsylvania when a automobile sped past and non-stop fire, reports LancasterOnline.

The passengers listened a shrill bang, though did not realize it was gunfire.

“Sometimes people chuck firecrackers during buggies,” pronounced East Lampeter Township Police Lt. Robin Weaver. “That’s what they suspicion had happened.”

It was usually when a cart reached a circuitously plantation that a Amish passengers realised their equine had been shot in a chest and was bleeding. They called a vet, though a animal died before assistance could arrive.

“In my 30 years, I’ve never seen anything like this,” pronounced Mr Weaver.
