Elwood, famed ‘world’s ugliest dog’, dies

The leader of a World’s Ugliest Dog Contest for 2013 is a Beagle, Basset, Boxer brew named Walle who appears to be “photoshopped” according to one of a judges. Elly Park reports.

A US dog that was crowned a world’s ugliest dog in 2007 and after became a subject of a children’s book priesthood acceptance has died. Elwood was 8.

His owner, Karen Quigley, says a Chinese crested and Chihuahua brew died suddenly on Thursday morning. The New Jersey proprietor says Elwood had been traffic with some heath issues in new months though seemed to be doing well.

Elwood was dim colored and clean-shaven – save for a smoke of white fur imitative a Mohawk on his head. He was mostly referred to by fans as Yoda, or E.T., for his similarity to those famous science-fiction characters.

Elwood won his climax during a annual nauseous dog competition during a Marin-Sonoma County Fair in California a year after he had finished second.
