Apple is opening a training centre in Naples that aims to learn a “new generation” of mechanism coders how to rise new program for a app store.

The beginning is partial of an industry-wide pull to inspire people to learn coding, amid concerns of a skills shortage.

It comes as Apple faces clever foe from opposition app height Google Play.

Apple hopes to enhance a training programme to countries worldwide.

Chief executive Tim Cook said: “Europe is home to some of a many artistic developers in a world, and we’re anxious to be assisting a subsequent era of entrepreneurs in Italy get a skills they need for success.”

Apple says a app store has combined some-more than 1.4 million jobs in Europe.

The UK leads a approach with 242,000 jobs in iOS development, followed by Germany with 209,000, France with 163,000, and Italy with 75,000.

But Google Play had twice a series of downloads in 2015, according to app analytics association App Annie.
